Taking a break from blogging for a bit. I hopefully get caught up someday soon.

Cheesy blogging about the books she's read. Please don't expect a review. She's just coherent enough to give a few thoughts on them. LOL

So many times once people start blogging, they tend to look at this whole thing as a competition, which totally throws things out of whack and only serves to stress you out. :(
I started blogging as a more efficient way to keep track of the books I read and what I thought of them. Granted as more and more readers found their way to my reviews, either via my RSS, google, or simply being my friend, I felt the need to up the quality of my reviews. Such that it'd sometimes take me weeks before I could sit down and write that long, detailed review that certain books demanded.
In any case, I've tried to not let the quantity of my posts deter me from the goal at hand, which is simply to write a good enough review that I could refer back to a year or more later and remember enough of what the book was about. I find this particularly useful with so many series books, where characters sometimes slip my mind, etc.
In any case, I just wanted to say that I think I may understand where you're coming from, and your need to pull back. But know that even if you just leave a one or two line blurb for a book you read, that may be all you need to satisfy your own goals, rather than trying to live up to everyone else's.
Anyway, I hope I made sense... and if I didn't, then just ignore everything above. LOL

You made perfect sense. I kind of burned out on too. Blogging for 3 years now. Not long compared to some but reading about 150 books a year it kind of wears on you also.
Three years? Wow! Where does the time go? I think I have been at this for two. For me, that's a long time to do anything. Normally six months is the max. When I get to the point that it's a chore, I'll walk away and not look back.
Are you planning to stay on Twitter?
