My Thoughts:

Love Abby and Dutch. The plot was full of spying and spies. I hope it doesn't stay like that though. I like that genre but not with these characters.

My Thoughts:

Gobbled this one up fast. Love the characters! The plot isn't bad either. I love the description of the clothes from different eras especially the '50s. It's also one of my favorite decades from the last century. I was right about who the murdered person was and who done it. I love the switch a roo aspect. I can't wait to read more in this series and now that we have Isobel too, the love quadrangle is on. lol

My Thoughts:

Kitty's Big Trouble in China Town would have been a better title. Not about werewolves this time around. More about how to stop Roman again. But even more about Chinese culture and the gods they worshiped. It's almost time for Kitty to speak up for the rest of the werewolves. Hopefully in the next installment.

My Thoughts:

Alexia pulls it off again. She is quite remarkable. This book has a great plot and even greater characters. I can't wait till the next book.

My Thoughts:

Great characters and a good plot. I didn't figure out who the murderer was till towards the end. I love foodie cozy mysteries and I love books set in the South. This has both. Which made it a winner before I even read it but after it was even more so.

My Thoughts:

I thought I'd never finish this book. The romance between Drina and Harper was hot at first but they accepted that they were life mates right way. More focus was on keeping Stephanie safe from Leonious with the attacks going on it seems the most important. Problem is the don't know who actually in causing the attacks....

My Thoughts:

I enjoy the characters but sometimes I don't understand what's going on right away. I have to reread a scene to get it. I started getting the picture toward the end. Ugh! The ending sucked for Zoe. I hope the guys can help her.

My Thoughts:

I love this series because it is so darn funny! I have a love/hate for Betsy. While she is selfish and only thinks about herself and shoes she is so inept that you can't help but like her anyway. I don't know if anything got accomplished this time around but it sure was funny what did happen. I'll keep reading the series for the laugh factor mainly.

My Thoughts:

You would have thought that going from 1989 to 2007 to 2010 then back again would be confusing but it wasn't. The story lines were pretty easy to follow and written well. I always enjoy reading about Jack, Herb and Harry. Learning more about Jack and the gang back in the day was even better. Also you get to see how Jack formed into what she is today. Mr. K was an great serial killer but even he could meet his match.

My Thoughts:

I enjoyed the characters in this book. I like Wollie a lot but I really liked Yuri and the group of people she was working with. And the murderer surprised me. I didn't want it to be any of them.

My Thoughts:

Pen may be haunted by a ghost but is the house Seymour inherited haunted too? I always enjoy when Pen dreams about the 1940s and Jack. Otherwise the mystery is pretty boring. I liked the psychic element to this book and that we know for sure now that Pen isn't hallucinating Jack thanks to one Psychic who actually saw and heard him.

Annie is going to marry Jim. Eve is trying to plan their wedding. Alex, Jim's cousin, is accused of murder. Annie has to clear him and found out who done it. I figured it out once the 2nd women died. I think she got the idea from the Hitchcock "Strangers on a Train". I enjoyed this series and I'm going to miss it.

Oh la la! Coffee and firefighters! What's not to love? Except maybe Mike's cousin who happens to have the same name but is a firefighter instead. He's also a womanizer. Mystery was great and the characters get better and better.

Santa is killed! Good mystery and good recipes. I love the characters in this series. And always enjoy what's happening.

My Thoughts:

Meg is pregnant with twins and her house is full to the brim with students. A murder takes place in her house. It's a college professor. Which student killed her or was it someone else? Fun, fun, funny as always! And we end with a cliffhanger. Meg goes off to the hospital at the end to have the twins but what sex are they? Boy, boy or girl, girl or even boy, girl.

My Thoughts:

Meg is smart and she's organized. She also gets suckered into helping out with her family all the time. But then again you can't say no to her mother. This time she's in charge of a rose show. There's a missing dog and a murder. Can Meg figure it out all before the show ends? This series never fails to make me laugh and think.

Again it was alright. Nothing great about it. Garnet is still selfish and immature. I'm not sad this series ended.

It was okay and I thought they'd never get married. Interesting that she can call on Goddesses so easily. She isn't very bright and she's kinda selfish.

She calls him Ken because he reminds her of the doll. The along comes a certain man to the store that is even better than Ken. He's got lots of blonde hair, built like an athlete and is all attitude. Maybe a little too much attitude because Lynne decides he wouldn't make a good dad. I think this makes Lynne realize that even though her dad is far from perfect he is alright.

My Thoughts:

The outtakes keep getting better and better. I was laughing out loud at some of Trevor and Mitchell's antics. And the word play with a certain character that I don't want to name here but let's just say he isn't called Dick. And to see my name mentioned in the outtake about Hammer, Wrench and Torque made me smile.

My Thoughts:

Very good mystery this time around. It took a little bit to figure it out. A red herring was thrown in there and I had to get unconfused from that to figure it all out. Hannah and the whole gang were great as usual. Just mad at Norman because he's letting someone tell him what to do. Hopefully that gets resolved in the next book. Of course, the recipes looked delicious.

My Thoughts:

Enjoyed the Hannah Swensen mystery the most.. Pretty simple to solve but still can't help but love the characters and the recipes. The Jaine Austen mystery was okay, nothing great but I enjoyed the mystery. And the Lucy Stone mystery was pretty good too. And I'm glad Nemo was alright. He's a very precocious kid.

Another really good one. I figured out who the murderer was early on. And Poppy was a naughty girl! I liked the way the book ended but sad that it was the last. I want to know what Roe is up to now and if she'll ever get rid of her brother.

And maybe now Abby and Pine will have a better relationship since she found out she doesn't know what she'd do without him.

Now she's got body guards and doesn't know why. The mystery was great. I figured it out but not where they were "hidden". Sad to find out that Martin isn't a good guy but he isn't a bad guy either. Poor Roe.

So much happened and I loved it all. I can't wait to see what happens next. And I also can't wait for Season 4 of True Blood!

This series get better and better. I'm glad Bria knows that Gin is her long, lost sister. Even if it takes her a while to digest she's also the Spider. I'm also glad that Owen is in Gin's life. She needed a boyfriend she could trust and love.

Disappointed a bit in this 3rd outing of the series. It seems everyone was getting on my last nerve. Rachel keeps getting away with crap over and over ad naseum. Greta is a bratty monster when her "daddy" is away. Talbot isn't in the book much. Lisette is too easy to get rid of and she is an Empress and Eric's creator. Eric is smart yet stupid and the forgetfulness is wearing thin. Amazingly, Tabitha is the only one that didn't get on my nerves. She's seemed to smarten up since the last two books.
There's only so many times people should die and keep coming back to life. I feel like I was reading a Soap Opera where the characters seem to live through anything or die and come back later. We'll see if I will read another in this series but I am a glutton for punishment.

She was a Djinn so her personality is just now becoming more human and less uncaring, aloof. That being said, it's hard to read these because of the awful things happening to the Warden children. Yes I know bad things happen in real life, all the time, to kids. But on this scale I hope not. And by the end of the book, things are getting worse.

I think Eve and Claire need to find better guys for themselves. And no not Myrnin for Claire either. He will never fully be sane or nice.

She also is chasing down a vampire serial killer with the help of Wade. I'm glad they are friends again. She also has to take care of some business with Sassy and Erin. And something happened between Camille and Vanzir. Who knows where that will lead... All in all it was action packed and didn't fail to delight.

It took me a few chapters to get into this book. Mostly because I'd forgotten a lot about this series. Milagro was herself even with amnesia although she was a little more obedient. I believe all she's been through really finally made her grow up.

It was kind of depressing at first. Because Lady Emily was depressed, she colored everything around her the same way. As she got back to her old self then things started to pick up. I knew who the murderer was almost the whole time, a little obvious, but not their motive. There might have been a few crazy people in this book but that doesn't make one a murderer. Most of the time, the ones that seem "normal" are the ones that are your murderers.

A little love for everyone. Oliver is "cured" of his love sickness for Schuyler. Just in time to go to her bonding with Jack in Italy. Where Bliss has come to be there too. A little kidnapping by the Countess's Venators but Jack saves the day quickly so the "wedding" does go off without a hitch.

There was a few very short stories intermingled throughout which were interesting. Glad to be up to speed because I'd forgot a lot of this and am now reading the newest in the series, Misguided Angel.

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed reading this because Savannah was the main character. At 21, she sure has matured a lot but she isn't 13 anymore. But she still has some growing up to do. Mostly letting people help her and not being so independent that she doesn't ask for help when she really needs. Interesting turn of events in this book. Not such a happy ending for some characters. Although I hope this brought Savannah and Adam closer together. Maybe they will be a couple soon.

Very detailed! I felt like I was right there with Jacob, Marlena, Rosie and the rest of the circus.I was horrified at the way August treated Rosie. Uncle Al wasn't much better with the redlighting he had done to some of the workers he couldn't afford anymore. Camel and Walter became Jacob's good friends.
We go from the present to the past in this book. Poor Old Jacob he couldn't remember what was going on in the present half the time but the past he could remember like it was yesterday. Very researched. I learned so much about how the circus was ran in those days.

I love reading about Paige, Lucas and Savannah too. I fell for the same thing that Paige did. Darn it, we should have both known better. I can't believe how grown up Savannah is now. It seems like the other day when Paige and Lucas took her in.

My Thoughts:

My favorite characters in the OW have always been Elena and the other werewolves. So this was nice reading more about Jeremy and Clayton. And even Malcolm. I may be biased but when she writes about the werewolves it's always better written. I thought I liked Jeremy and Clayton before but I love, love, love them now.

Very fast paced and thrilling as usual. I love reading about these women. I enjoyed the different cases that Lindsay, Yuki and Cindy were working on. Especially the one Cindy was but it ended abruptly in my opinion. I'm glad that Lindsay and Joe FINALLY got married and the little surprise we learn about at the end of the book.

I loved John Matthew and Xhex as a couple. There was a lot of story lines to follow but they all seemed to coalesce. Although the ghost story set in the Carolinas threw me off a bit. And the thing with Blay and Quinn is getting annoying. They need to quit acting like idiots, especially Quinn, and tell each other how they REALLY feel. Ugh!

I see Mad with Werner and Eve finally admitting she likes Nick and the two of them getting together. I hate love triangles.

Ophelia, Abby, Tink, Great Aunt Mary, Aunt Dot, Lydia and Elsie are the 7 witches of the family. And it's up to them to stop the Doran family from taking what theirs away from them. 50 years is a long time to right a wrong but Ophelia will take it on.
I love this series. I sure hope Mrs. Damsgaard writes more.

My Thoughts:

No sleep and no internet makes you read more. Not a bad thing except the no sleep. I enjoy this series to a degree. I LOVE Lou. The other characters are okay but The Dresden Files is much better. And this reminds me of that a lot.
I like the Windengo in this book. And the shapeshifter was very scary. Sherwood being back though...iffy. If it wasn't for Lou, I'm partial to Min Pins I have one myself, I don't know if I'd continue with this series or not.

My Thoughts:

Very interesting! Not a murder mystery time but Eve is dealing with crooked cops. I like the way she handled it all. Especially with Renee at the end.

Interesting concept with the murderer. I enjoy Eve and Roarke and the rest of the gang. And the plot is fast paced which I enjoy in a mystery.

My Thoughts:

Better than the last. It's nice to find out why Delilah has her back phobia. Not nice what happened though. Also good to return to Kansas to put some things behind her. I enjoyed the Wizard of Oz CinSims and learning about the Metropolis movie

My Thoughts:

There's elements of this book series I enjoy. The CinSims especially. I like most of the characters in the book too. The plot needs work though. It's just somewhat lacking. I can't put my finger on what exactly. And some of it I feel ghosts of other books. Especially Sookie Stackhouse and Rachel Morgan.

Rachel saves the day again. A lot of things have changed now and what Rachel is and what she is going to do in the future is up to her. I hope this isn't the last we see of a certain someone. I like him even if he's what he is. Rachel's relationship with everyone but Jenks changes in this book. All for the better I hope. And I loved what Trent got in the Elf quest. Great edition to the series. I can't wait for the next book.

Read about half the book before anything happened and then yes it was some good sex as usual but the way Alex reacted when she found out about Cale being a "vampire" just pissed me off. Plus he never did tell her didn't know how to cook.

What do you do on a lazy Saturday? Read on and off all day. :D Another good Argeneau vampire romance. I really like Eshe. She's everything I'd like to be strong, smart and very positive. And it was a good mystery! This tied up a lot of loose ends in the last two books. Now Nicholas is cleared and Armand is free to be with his family again. It's great they both have life mates to spend it with.

Jo was definitely feisty! Gotta like her. And she believed Nicholas was innocent when no one else did. And some hot love scenes in this one too.

The best part of this book was the love scenes. Otherwise it was a okay romance and the action was good in parts when the rogue vampire was around.

Carlos and Caitlyn make a almost perfect couple. The problem is that she isn't a were-panther and Carlos is. His kind are rare and he could turn her but it's hard for someone to survive it. Another kicker is that Caitlyn is Shanna's sister and of course Whelan's daughter. He doesn't want her to be involved with the vampire crowd or even the shifters.
Caitlyn has a special gift with learning languages very quickly. And that makes her handy for Carlos to use in the jungles of other countries while he looks for more of his kind. They find a were-tiger community instead and some Chinese Vampires. Another set of bad vampires they have to fight off and things go bad quickly. But in the end, they are together for good

Vanda isn't a simpering idiot. But a brash, angry vampire. I like her attitude in a way. She's got to get beyond her past and let Phil help her control her anger. And Phil needs to admit to her what he is. Neither one want to tell the other about their past. But a vampire war against the Malcontents changes everything.

My Thoughts:

Amazingly this wasn't a Kindle book but an actual paperback. Shut the front door, right? LOL Only the 2nd book this year I read in print.

Anyway, this was a pretty decent anthology. They all had their good points. Their bad points being that you can't fall in love in a few days and commit to somebody no matter how supernatural they are or aren't...
I liked "Zombiewood Confidential" by Marianne Mancusi the best because it was more gore and less love dovey. I know I'm reading a romance book but what can I say. My favorite male of all was Dante in "Gentleman Prefer Voodoo" by Angie Fox. Let's just say this Spanish Zombie is hot! I also liked "Bring Out Your Dead", by Katie MacAlister, even though I wanted to beat Sebastian's head in a few times. And "Every Part of You" by Lisa Cach was funny because the "zombies" crave sweets instead of brains.

My Thoughts:

Fast and fun teen paranormal romance. I LOVED the Viking ghosts. The best part of the book. They made me laugh a lot. Fran still isn't ready to be Ben's Beloved. Which is good because she is only 16. Ben will just have to wait patiently for a few years so Fran can grow up. The book ended with a little bit of a cliff hanger. It looks like Katie thought she was going to write more in this series and she never got the deal to do it.
Good thing she still has the Dark Ones series. Because that's where she put Ben and Fran in. She is a few years older now. Hopefully this latest Dark Ones book(In the Company of Vampires) ties up all the loose ends.

Cute teen paranormal romance. More of a who done it than a romance. But Fran is 16 and being a Beloved of Ben's she is just too young still. I'm glad the author didn't push it like in the Twilight books.

Not the best in this series. It's kind of confusing because you're use to the Dark Ones being good guys but even though they are in this one, The Brotherhood sees them as evil. Pia is stuck in the middle. And there is no happy ever after ending.

Wow not the ending I expected but I guess I should have known better. Laura Caxton is "safely" in prison away from vampires. But it doesn't take Justinia long to come to her. Great thriller with a great ending.

Definitely gruesome but oh so good. Laura is still a vampire hunter but she's hunting Arkeley now because he is one. She has basically turned out just like he was before he turned. She's letting the job consume her and doing nothing with her personal life. Once she was a good State Trooper now she's become obsessed with hunting down Arkeley and destroying him no matter what the cost.

Better than Burned but not much. I think this series needs to find closure. I like the characters but it's getting ridiculous that Neferet is still getting away with everything. More and more people are dying so we will read it more? I'm glad that it did work out sorta for Stevie Rae and she got the secret off her chest. And I'm glad Zoey is back in Tulsa and not hiding out anymore. But now we have to worry about Stark and also about Dragon. *sigh*

Aphrodite’s loyalty can swing a lot of different ways, but right now Zoey’s fate hangs in the balance.

My Thoughts:

It took me a bit to get back into this series. Maybe I'm sick of teenagers talking like idiots. I don't know... It's a good series still. I like Zoey but she wasn't in this much because her soul was shattered. Glad she'll be back more for the next one.
